Wanna take a ride!!!??
The voice of Coast to Coast AM since Art Bell in the 1990s through this year has been Ross Mitchell. His deep voice and sometimes frightening delivery during some of the best shows in the past made those best shows even better. But now, he isn’t working for Coast to Coast AM anymore. He now announces for competitor RED EYE RADIO..
The end of an era?
Some already thought George Noory has taken the show to new lows over the past several years since Art Bell left full time and now altogether. And with the absence of Ross Mitchell, those voices have only become louder.

Coast to Coast AM suddenly made me feel scared again
It’s been a while since the late night radio show Coast to Coast AM was able to get under my skin and penetrate deep into my mind.. freak me out.. and make me look over my shoulder when I’m in the woods. Typically George Noory doesn’t have the ability that the great Art Bell did when he hosted full time..
The show revolved around the odd disappearance of people in national parks—people vanishing for over 100 years. At times clothes are found with tiny bones left and no blood.. at times dogs get too scared to keep sniffing for victims.. at times people are found dry after being in snow or rain.. and a vast number of people who vanish are children. Making the scenario all the creepier, the government seems to get very edgy when people start to ask questions.
The show was an instant classic and should you be able to listen or have the chance to, it’s worth the four hours of your time.
And it may change your mind about going camping this year, too.

IF YOU’RE TRYING TO SLEEP BUT CAN’T, STOP SLEEPING AND JUST GET CREEPED OUT
Coast to Coast AM, tonight hosted by George Knapp, delves into the strange stories of people who are vanishing from national parks and forests.. no one quite knows why, the government doesn’t comment, and we are left to speculate. And look behind us if we’re in a park or forest, too.
Knapp’s a classy guy. Show is listenable when he hosts.. monotone voice and all.. Worth a listen if you’re sleepless in Seattle, San Diego, Sharltesville, or anywhere else coast to coast and around the world..

If you’re bored, you’re boring.
But even more.. if you’re bored, it may be time to tune in to Coast to Coast AM.. hosted on Saturdays by John B. Wells.
Tonight: Fairies and the avian flu. Odd coupling of topics. Maybe listen with the whiskey …?

If you're up late (or early) Sunday.. try Ian Punnett on Coast to Coast AM
The topic sounds interesting. Monsters. One of my favorite topics about American history.. monsters in our own history — mythical and real.
Looks like Punnutt will talk on the the fictitious.
Salem witches, frontier wilderness beasts, freak show oddities, alien invasions, and Freddie Krueger. From our colonial past to the present, the monster in all its various forms has been a staple of U.S. culture. Professor of History Scott Poole joins Ian Punnett for a discussion of the dark obsessions that have helped create America’s national identity.

….Art Bell, can you please come back to radio….?

Cumulus dropping Coast to Coast AM in multiple markets
This is a pretty big deal for those who like the radio that talks about strange bumps in the night—but maybe also not surprising just as well.
“Red Eye Radio” is replacing Coast to Coast AM with George Noory is multiple markets.
There is a lot to this new change in a lineup. However, regardless of ‘why’ the show is being dropped, the fact it is being dropped it a major development in radio.
Art Bell officially ended his relationship with Coast to Coast AM in 2010. And since then listeners in massive numbers yearned for his return. He has not yet, and instead George Noory has boasted that he may get a contract renewal until 2018 (long after that whole Mayan Apocalypse) ..
With the new news of Coast being dropped of of pretty big markets, being replaced with a late night conservative political show, what will become of the little UFO program that could created by Art Bell? …maybe the return of Art Bell?
Don’t forget: Art Bell retired before (ok lots of times) .. but one time he retired someone by the name of Mark Siegel took over. Affiliates dropped. Ratings dipped.
Could we be re-writing the same chapter all over again?Posted on February 26, 2012 with 1 note ()

After midnight strikes, if you're bored, tune into to COAST TO COAST AM

For all the Coast to Coast enthusiasts.. Art Bell is now posting on CoastGab.
And he’s talkin’..
As for Coast, the show has changed which from my point of view is a shame but
it is the right of the Host doing the show to take it in the direction they see fit. I
have had many offers to join other Networks to compete if I wished BUT I have
decided that I do not wish to destroy what I built, or what is left of it.
I really am enjoying being Retired, I can be part of my Daughter’s life as she grows
and it is a blast. I do miss all of you though. I am not saying I will not pick up a mike
one day, just not this day. I learned long ago, never say never.Fans miss him. And now maybe see why he chose to stop broadcasting on the show he created..

If you're bored tonight, there may be nothing better than to listen to Linda Moulton Howe talk about cattle mutilations. No better way to spend a Thursday night/Friday morning than that..

Something.. or nothing.. and why either one?
Tomorrow night, no matter if you’re bored with the bar scene or simply awake with a baby, it may be of particular interest for you to tune in to hear John B. Wells host Coast to Coast AM.. It may be a very worthwhile program.
Theoretical physicist Lawrence M. Krauss is going to be on to provide revelatory answers to the most basic philosophical questions… such as the most important questions of alll: Where did our universe come from? Why is there something rather than nothing?

A note to the late nighters and night owls out there..
The sounds of silence are over.. John B. Wells takes over Saturday night duties on Coast to Coast AM .. Starting now.
His voice now prevailing across the land, around the world.. and beyond.
Hope it’s good.
Enjoy.
If you dare.

Ian Punnett ended Coast to Coast AM with this quote last night.. and it is pretty meaningful as we enter into a new year
I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year 'Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.' And he replied, 'Go into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way!' So I went forth and finding the Hand of God Trod gladly into the night He led me towards the hills And the breaking of day in the lone east.

For those traveling down the windmills of the mind after dark..
In only moments George Knapp is going to host Coast To Coast AM .. his topic: Weird things photographed on the moon, and a former NASA photo manager claims it got him fired. Interesting if true. And if not, still interesting to listen to in the wee hours of the evening. So put the Christmas fire out, get a pot of coffee, and listen to the static of the AM radio..
