You don't see a story like this every day.. The newest rumor floating around Russia is that an Obama official warned that the end of the world is coming
…Does Harold Camping now work for Obama?

HOLD THAT END TIMES SCENARIO! A new calender from the Mayans seems to point to life after 2012. Like we should be shocked..
…I know, I know. You were hoping for destruction and mayhem on December 21, 2012.
Well.. being earth, that is entirely possible. But surely not the end …. Mayhem and destruction never has an end.

Just when you thought you were getting ahead of the game… comes this study
Sure, my pudding expires December 21 2012 and lots of other people think people in general will, too. But we can’t lose hope. Fukushima may have blasted the planet with extreme radiation.. others worry about our online rights being suddenly stripped with the next bill that has too long of an acronym to even understand anymore. And the weather is crazy, isn’t it? Slightly maddening cows hopefully didn’t get into our meat supply, even though South Korea banned our imports. We will still eat them. Beef, it’s what for dinner. 20 years later you may go mad, too.
But all that aside, life isn’t that bad, right?
Enter this study: The planet Earth is ready to face a century of disasters.
That’s right.. not just a few weeks, or a month.. or a year or two. No, this report goes all the way: A whole century. But the time humans make it to the 22nd, if we should be so lucky as a species, generations may look back on us in 2012 and say ‘these poor schmucks didn’t know what was about to hit them!’
The Royal Society seems to know. They say world population needs to be ‘stabalised’ (British spelling) in order to take awayeth from the rich nations and giveth to the poor nations. Yes, indeed. Agenda 21 anyone? Perhaps conspiracy theories of population control are right after all?
What surprised me was that this report didn’t talk much about the most pressing issue set to face our world in the next 20 or so years: Water. Just peruse your local video rental store…..oh wait they are all shut down… Go to Netflix, you won’t find these in the local RedBox: 5 documentaries that you must see to understand the water crisis that we face—in our lifetime..
But instead of worrying about clean water and air… let’s frack. Seriously.. Fracking make it all go away.
But it does seem to cause an increase in manmade earthquakes, doesn’t it? If you care. Most of the fracking in rural areas anyway. And what person REALLY cares about the rural area anyway.
Besides the Obama administration, which wants to limit what farmhands can do.
Little House on the Prairie. Now regulated!?
Get me Bill Gates! I need a vaccine.
My rambling Thursday morning whatever. Over and out.

Hmmm… My pudding goes bad the same day that the world ends? Kraft know something we don’t?

…if you make it through December .. maybe you’ll be fine…
Get ready to hear about asteroid 2012 DA14. It hurtling towards the planet earth and speculation is building online concerning how close to earth it will get — or if it will hit earth..
And just when you thought Armageddon was going to occur December 2012. Maybe the Mayans were off by two months.
Here is the storyline: A newly discovered asteroid named 2012 DA14 is about to come close to earth. Lots of sources online, for better or worse, are proclaiming the end to be near..
But lots of confusion also exists on the asteroid, too.
For example, this site says it will be closer than some satellites.
The always fun RT.COM speaks of it in a more apocalyptic tone..
And finally..
NASA.. the experts in all this..Well.. they are watching it too and giving us lots of graphs and numbers to showcase the whole event. And finally, here is a YouTube video with horrific music showing us the progression.
And after all of this, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little creeped out by the chances that earth could face a perilous future.. But this soon? February next year?
Asteroid 2012 DA14 is too close for comfort. And maybe if we make it through February 2013 we will just say .. it was close. Hopefully. If we’re here. I suppose live every day of this year like it’s the last, eh?

The struggle in the Catholic Church: The "Monsignors' Mutiny" now revealed
The struggle inside the Holy See may even have a longer-term effect, on the choice of the man to succeed Benedict when he dies…
And if it’s Peter the Roman, I’ll conclude that the Prophecy of the Popes is right and the world is quickly coming to an end……….. really.

One more piece of news from the day before the CoalSpeaker retires for the evening.. the race to midnight just got faster, according to atomic scientists. Yes indeed, today came an announcement that the dreaded and famed Doomsday Clock inched a bit closer to peril.
Earth now stands at 11:55 pm—five short minutes away from complete destruction.
Why? Global climate change.. nuclear tensions.. increased war drums across the globe. All this and more, coupled together, equals a clock racing towards annihilation.
2012 was fun until now. Just 10 days in, we discover that we are almost there.. the end times. Not due to a God above but due to the people below..

If the world ends in 2012, think of the positive..
It’s a leap year. So you get one extra day to do what you want.

CHRISTMAS EVE, 2011
READY OR NOT: CHRISTMAS TIME, 2011 HERE AGAIN.
Could this be the final one? If the Mayans (or those who believe that Mayan end times deal) are right, we could be facing the possibility that we will never have a Christmas again! December 2012, the end.
And the world will be set to end before even Christmas eve 2012.. and the day of.. No more gifts.. no need for trees.. no dinner. No fish. No ham. No beef. No turkey. How depressing.
So if this is it, let it be great..
Drink well. Eat well. Be merry.
Let the mistletoe do the talking while your faith does the walkin’ .. Indeed, USA and Earth: If this is it, live it up and make it the very best Christmas Eve and day you’ve ever had.
And if you don’t, you’ll only have yourself to blame.
As the world burns in a massive series of destructive …somethings in ‘12. -
Question for science folks?
What scares you the most:
- Solar flares?
- Asteroids?
- Comets?
- The unknown
Just wondering.
For me, it’s probably solar fares… At least there’s the possibility we’d be hit with an asteroid by surprise, but a solar flare? …we got hours of knowledge before it strikes. The ‘knowing’ scares me more than the unknowns…

I’m looking for answers here….
Readers, viewers, listeners, fans, friends… Give me your thoughts… I had a late night Father’s Day talk with my own father last night. We dicussed some interesting issues, including this: What would happen if robots took over earth? Would they suck away oxygen? ..destroy humans? … kill us all? It could happen. We have given our technology almost more power than us..Send me your thoughts on my open lines page.. And I’ll answer..

DO YOU REALLY THINK THIS MAN KNOWS WHEN THE END WILL OCCUR?
Christian who believe the end of the world and their rapture will come on Saturday, May 21, will likely not be attending, but nonbelievers of the Doomsday predictions are planning parties for Saturday.. And if the world does indeed end, no worry of a hangover on Sunday morning..
The real question is, after the world continues to operate as normal on Sunday, will the Christians go back to Church and pray about why their were not taken? … or sleep in..?
But Harold Camping’s camp is standing firm on its dire predictions that God will save them on Saturday and leave the rest of the world to suffer until October, when the plug gets pulled on the rest of us..
No fear from other preachers, though, who are lining up against the father of fear..
One day in May: The end of it all? … or just another day.
I think deep down we know the answer.
But just in case Camping is right and the end is here, there is a company that will provide a kind service to you: Taking care of your pet after the rapture..
WHO’S BRINGING NACHOS?! ‘RAPTURE PARTIES’ BEING SET FOR MAY 21Posted on May 19, 2011 with 5 notes ()
-

A Christian group is urging the world to get ready for the end times—end times that are set to begin May 21.. This Saturday. The rapture is coming, rapture ready followers of the doomsday prediction are getting ready for their immediate trip to heaven scheduled for this weekend.
The rest of us, the prediction so says, will have to wait until October for our demise. We will face the tribulation while the caravan of Christians, warning the world, will be in heaven watching the earth’s last dramatic days..
But.. my question posed here now: What will this group do on Sunday morning, the day after the end times.. the day after they were set to be raptured.. the day after they predicted the end of the world would occur. Will they attend Sunday mass or just leave religion altogether? Some are jokingly planning post-rapture looting on Facebook.
And I guess if the rapture happens, it won’t be jokingly..
Let the strangeness begin..Posted on May 18, 2011 with 1 note ()

2011 CQ1 was a close call for earth

The earth almost had a possible significant impact from an asteroid on February 4 .. While these events occur all of the time, the troubling aspect of this most recent earth-danger was that it was only noticed hours before potential impact. Richard Kowalski at Mount Bigelow Observatory near Tuscon, Arizona found it, and quickly notified the rest of the scientific community.
The name: 2011 CQ1. It was small, only 6.5 to 10 feet across — but that still could have caused serious problems for wherever on earth it would have struck.
Some other sources for the news:
Space: Tiny Asteroid Zips Close By Earth
Universe Today: Small Asteroid Just Buzzed Earth…with all of our modern technology and our advanced knowledge, we only notice a possible earth changing event hours before it hits.. Wow.
