It is feeling like 2008 all over again
I am about to turn 32.. but I was about to turn 29 in 2008. So that’s good. But what is bad was ….well, an economic collapse. Today a bad jobs report was released, the market crashed, and more dire warning crept into headlines from around the world. Yes, indeed, it’s beginning to feel like and economic collapse is upon us again..

This whole Facebook IPO fiasco is just getting more and more strange.. now regulators are set to review Morgan Stanley allegations
Allegations state that Morgan Stanley shared negative news with big investors right before Facebook went public… this news today after only days since Facebook was unveiled on the market—and the stock declined ferociously ever since.
But think of it this way: Facebook is virtual. It’s selling virtual reality. And in reality it’s selling you. So really, what market investor really wants to invest in you anyway?

Something few in the world are paying attention to right now.. but if it happens, the world will notice: A possible Euro split coming?

The future is now: AP reports: One in 3 young adults with autism have no paid job experience, college or technical schooling nearly seven years after high school graduation, a study finds. That's a poorer showing than those with other disabilities including those who are mentally disabled, the researchers said.
As though we needed another reason to understand that the autism generation is growing up.. and when they do, will they have the chance that others did? Or will they be tossed aside by a society that doesn’t value the gifts they have?
This is a big story.. 1 in 3 is a lot. Just as 1 in 88 is, too.

Paul vs. Paul The epic economic debate. No really, it was just that cool to hear them both debate like civil people.

So…If we make it through December we’ll be fine?
Just when you thought the only thing to fear in December 2012 was the end of the Mayan calender and subsequent apocalypses, enter into the news fray this item of importance: Ben Bernanke is warning the nation of impending doom. A ‘fiscal cliff’ .. coming in January 2013…right as the new years eve ball (hopefully) drops on a nation that is relieved they weren’t destroyed by fire and brimstone.
So is it a relief when Ron Paul predicts that the FED will self destruct…?
Not at all, I suppose. The cliff just gets more steep..

President Obama offers a tip on how to appear out of touch: Say it is 'interesting' that someone cannot find a job since.. well, everyone is hiring!
…they are hiring, right?
I mean.. he says they are.. So an engineer shouldn’t have trouble landing the next gig, right?

And who says Friday the 13th bad luck is just a hoax.. tell that to Europe, which just got hit with a Friday the 13th wave of downgrades
The economic free fall beginning? The crisis of the EURO currency here? S&P give the gift of downgrade to nine nations.. and talks broke down between Greece and its creditors over a debt swap seen as crucial to avert a Greek default, although officials said more talks are likely next week..
Friday the 13th.. Just a figment of imagination? Tell that to the euro zone..

I think Facebook’s new ‘timeline’ feature is going to take the place of resumes in the future.
Which means lots of job openings will exist for people, perhaps, without a Facebook.

To friends and followers and fans in the Vegas area..
Things in your neck of the woods.. or sand of the desert.. don’t appear to be too well. Underwater actually if you’re talking real estate..
Vegas News 8 has a great series running on the situation..
In the case of the mortgage meltdown, the fact it happened in Vegas didn’t make it only stay there..
