This filmmaker replaced his eyeball with a camera:

As a kid, Toronto filmmaker Rob Spence played with a “Six Million Dollar Man” action figure. 

At 43, he’s turned himself into a real-life version of the bionic hero. 

 It’s the subject of a new Showtime documentary about virtual reality in our modern life .. 

 Spence shot his eye out at 9 by accident. Now years later he can see everything and record it..

The camera lasts for about three minutes before overheating. But this is early technology and will undoubtedly get better as time goes on.. 





 And as it goes in the ethical questions will be popping up everywhere with every pop of a camera into a a socket..
